Lee FitzGerald

Family interventions is honored and happy to announce that Lee FitzGerald has joined Family interventions. Lee is very well known, loved and respected in the recovery and treatment world, both nationally and internationally.

Lee has worked in the addiction field for 15 years, is a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor in California and a certified Intervention professional. Along with being on the board of Association of Intervention Specialists, she is also a board member of the Haven, intensive outpatients on campus at USC Drexel Pennsylvania.

Lee has worked in admissions, business development and community relations with Promises treatment center in California for 10 years and as Executive Director of the West Coast, and Europe for Caron foundation for 3 years. She has a charismatic, compassionate and very professional approach to working with families and individuals who are struggling to overcome the destructive and potentially deadly effects of addiction.

She is trained in the Arise model of interventions and Johnson style of interventions, and has successfully been doing intervention since 2005. Her work as an interventionist has been on the intervention A&E TV show.

In addition to doing interventions for family interventions, Lee will be co-facilitating complex interventions with Bob Reid for couples and/or parents who are both actively using drugs and/or alcohol and/or have untreated mental health problems and codependency. Our approach to intervening with couples or parents is very successful and designed to help each partners get into inpatient treatment and help them rebuild their relationship in recovery after they have each completed treatment.

In her free time, Lee has a non profit called Dristi Nepal that helps women and children in the country of Nepal and has twins, William and Lily!
